    Not certain how stable the MDF will be over time : environment (ex: moisture, temperature) and machine movement (ex: vibrations).

    It also depends on the type of work you aim to do, as well as speeds ...

    Where there is a will, there is a way.

    Yes Serge, I plan to replace the MDF with parts cut from the Machine once its finished. First will be the Gantry Plates. I realize the vibrations are going to cause stress on the wheel holes, and it will get sloppy after a while.

    Check out Slyclockwerkz's Plates. Cheap, but definately worth the price.

    Thank you Gray, but my plates are custom, only because i have a modified design.
