My one concern is that if I choose the glass bed then I will have to order it first and measure it before getting the bed holder plate cut for clearance.
Also it seems like most of the 20" glass beds on Amazon are about 1/2" = 12.7mm, 3/8" = 9.525mm, few 1/4" = 6.35mm thick so it will stick up above the platform a bit, hmmm.
Thank gosh there are a few 6mm ones so only 2mm will be above the build platform, not so bad.

Hoping someone can help with Fusion 360. I've been tinkering and made new files with Misumi 4060 extrusion to allow easier linear guide rail installation and the possibility of an enclosure. I am adding the CAD files for the base plates with either glass or Mic6 beds and adjusted both base and top plates to have a .250" channel on the perimeter to allow the sliding in of plexiglass to create an enclosure. The corners will have a 3d printed profile with slots to trap the plexiglass and run it up the whole height to seal the gap. I still have to come up with designing the simple vertical profile and will design a special hinge and latch for the front. I will probably tweak the file and add pivot holes and remove the outer lip in the front channel to allow the door to swing open.

I was hoping someone with Fusion 360 experience can take the Cad files and extrude the plates to .375" thickness and the outer channel to .25" thickness.

I was thinking now extrusions of 1300mm and Robot Digg 1000mm linear rails, all 3 for $84, clean them up and maybe add ceramic balls. Still get 500 XY build area and a little less Z for those who DON'T want to do delrin wheels.

    GCr15 MGN12-1H-500, MGN12-1H-600 or MGN12-1H-1000 Linear Rail and Carriage - RobotDigg

    Thank you.

I need to spend some quality time with Fusion 360...hard to do with kiddos. I will get it done here and there.
