I have an idea and I am looking for a partner to help on the modeling aspect to figure out the proper dimensions for an offset between the threaded anti-backlash nut and z axis plate with using linear rails. once i know the distance i can machine the plate down and leave a raised spot for the offset distance. I am still trying to teach myself fusion and sketchup, as i do not have a background in it. But i have a feeling this would greatly improve rigidity. i am planning on using the set up below as a base with the linear rails added onto the two outside slots of the front face.
looking forward to hearing from you all. please reach out to me via messenger to go over the specifics.
Thank you in advance for any help.
